MR C D LLOYD PRACTICE MANAGER

About us

Station Road Surgery is a well established 4 partner practice, offering a broad range of services in a welcome, friendly environment.

We aim to provide an excellent service and are committed to your primary care needs.

When the Surgery is closed

The Local Health Board is responsible for the provision of out of hours (OOH) medical cover. A doctor is available at all times to deal with emergencies and urgent problems; if you telephone our normal number when the surgery is closed you will be automatically transferred to the service following a message asking you to consider whether your out of hours request is something that can wait until the surgery is next open.

If you ring them, they will take details of your problem and give appropriate advice. They may arrange a consultation at the GP Emergency Centre based at Barry Hospital or send a doctor to your home to visit if necessary.

Facilites

We have a hearing loop at reception. If you unable to unable to use the stairs please inform reception staff in advance of your appointment and we will arrange for you to be seen downstairs. Large print practice leaflets are available for the visually impaired.

Station Road Surgery is a Breast Feeding Friendly Practice. We recognise the benefits of breast feeding. Breast feeding is acceptable in all public areas of our premises and mothers will not be asked to move or stop Breast feeding. Station Road Surgery employees are supportive and aware of the Breast Feeding Welcome Scheme.

All public areas of our premises are non smoking.
